THE MOBILE MASSAGE TREATMENTS
Whole Body half hour minimum
The complete Whole Body massage NORMALLY lasts for ninety minutes beginning with a stimulating fifteen minutes of reflexology and massage to the feet. From the feet, the treatment moves gently up into the backs of the legs, the buttocks, lower back, upper back, shoulders, arms, neck and scalp. After rolling over onto one’s back, the treatment resumes from the ankles up the fronts of the legs to the hips, the belly, the chest with reflexology and massage, the neck and lastly the face. If you wish to leave out any parts of the body you may. The Whole Body massage is deeply relaxing and energising. If you just feel low on energy and generally sore, this is the best massage for you.
Part Body half hour minimum
If you have some specific problems you want therapy concentrated on, Part Body can be as little as half an hour or as much as two hours. Treatment for specific problems may involve:
1. Deep tissue work. Such work will begin slowly, pending your ability to relax into it and breathe out or express the pain associated with it. There will be no attempt made to move any mountains by using too much force. The body and mind need time to tune in. Generally speaking, the more one can relax one's muscles, the better a treatment works. Some people experienced in relaxation techniques can be amply helped in one treatment. A few successive weekly treatments often yield very rewarding results.
2. Shallow or surface tissue work. Access to the surface muscles is quicker than deep tissue and satisfactory results are often attainable in one session. Surface muscles include many of those of the limbs, the face, and the large covering muscles of the torso.
3. Injured tissue work. This includes strained and torn muscles. Massage is useful for assisting the healing process in torn muscles by squeezing the wound closed. And in all injury cases, massage is useful for minimising scar tissue adhesions between muscles and their sheaths and the sheaths of other muscles. Even months or years after an injury, pain and immobility may remain because of such adhesions.
Apart from basic manipulation of muscle tissues, I use a technique called contractual tendon release in which I stretch and release the tendons or ends of the muscles. It is a bit like plucking a harp string. It can be momentarily painful, but is usually effective in freeing the muscle.
Reflexology half hour minimum.
Beginning with a herbal footbath for $20 and based on traditional knowledge of meridian points in the feet and ankles. Reflexology may be offered as an adjunct to the Whole Body massage or as a stand alone. A stand alone session can be from half to two hours in duration plus 10 minutes for the footbath, and may be applied not only to the feet but to the reflex points along the meridians of the body.
LifeWave® energy discs may be used on body points found to be reflecting internal disease at $10 per pair which remain on for 12 hours.
Essential Oil Deep Relaxation Therapeutic
Two hours of deep aromatic bliss. Using an array of eight high grade oils intuitively selected.
A systematised surface tissue and meridian light massage incorporating a sequence of essential oils and a coconut oil base.
Feet and back.
$160.
Training is offered as a day-course of two three hour sessions for $360. BYO oils.
